Bruce Adds 2 Saxohpones to E Street Band Tour

Bruce has finally announced that he has found a replacement(s) to fill in for the late Clarence Clemons. So you have tto ask how big was The Big Man? The answer is easy, it will take two saxophone players to replace Clemons. One was the odds on favorite, Ed Manion and the other was a sentimental choice, Clarence’s nephew, Jake Clemons. So, in the end Bruce did the right thing is keeping it all in the Jeresy Shore & E Street Band Family. Below is the Associated Press article with the announcement.
NEW YORK — Bruce Springsteen has announced that two saxophonists, including Clarence Clemons’ nephew, Jake Clemons, will join his upcoming world tour with the E Street Band.

The announcement was made Thursday on Springsteen’s website. Springsteen says longtime collaborator Eddie Manion wil “share the saxophone role” with Jake Clemons.

Returning singers Cindy Mizelle (my-ZEHL’) and Curtis King, trombonist Clark Gayton and trumpeter Curt Ramm also will be on the tour, along with newcomer Barry Danielian on trumpet.

“Wrecking Ball” is Springsteen’s 17th album and the first since the death of E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons last summer.

The tour starts March 18 in Atlanta.
