With the weather getting increasingly colder in recent weeks, we look forward to nothing more than Friday nights on the sofa and some good telly.

And thanks to Graham Norton, we’re not short of options.

Yes, the TV host is known for his consistently stellar lineup and this week is no different with Bruce Springsteen appearing on The Graham Norton Show.

The Boss is taking a seat on the sofa to discuss his new role as a director on the documentary Western Stars.

The film is based on the album of the same name and will move beyond the traditional concert film and give a deeper insight into Springsteen’s career.

It will focus on themes of ‘love, loss, loneliness, family and the passage of time’ according to its bio.

And while many viewers will be thrilled to hear from Bruce Springsteen, Graham Norton will also be joined by Hollywood legend Robert De Niro who will be talking about his role in the newly released Joker and Martin Scorsese’s gangster film, The Irishman.

Marvel star Paul Rudd will also be on the sofa to discuss his highly anticipated Netflix comedy series, Living With Yourself.

Finishing the show, James Blunt will be performing and hopefully hanging on to have a chat with the host also.

So, order the Chinese, pop a bottle of red and stick on BBC One Friday night at 10.35pm and enjoy.
